Steps to make Goobi popcorn ❤️:
- Cut all the cauliflower florets into same size. Set aside
- In a large sauce pan, pour water and add the cauliflower florets. Over medium flame bring it to a boil and cook the cauliflower florets.
- Once done strain the cauliflower florets and then transfer it into a mixing bowl.
- For the coating - In a large mixing bowl combine cauliflower florets with chopped parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, corn flour and maida. Stir using your hands until all ingredients are combined. The cauliflower florets have to be well coated.
- 2step of coating: Once done remove the cauliflower florets from the mixing bowl and keep them in a separate bowl.
- For the batter - In the same large mixing bowl add maida, corn flour, soya sauce, yogurt and salt. Mix everything until well combined.
- 2step of batter: Add water little at a time to the mixture; keep stirring to form a lump free batter.
- Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter mixture and then coat it with panko breadcrumbs. Make sure the cauliflower florets are well coated. Once done set aside.
- For frying - In a deep frying pan, heat the oil on medium flame. Add the coated cauliflower florets in batches.
- Deep fry them for 6-7 minutes or until they are light and crunchy. Follow the same procedure for the remaining gobi popcorn. Remove on a kitchen towel.
- Serve Gobi Popcorn with ketchup or mayonnaise
