Step-by-Step Guide to Prepare Speedy Trifle

Hey everyone, it is me, Dave, welcome to our recipe site. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a distinctive dish, trifle. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I will make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Trifle is one of the most popular of current trending foods in the world. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. Trifle is something which I have loved my entire life. They are fine and they look wonderful.

To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have trifle using 12 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Trifle:
  1. Take 15 sponge fingers (use eggless cake if vegetarian)
  2. Take 6 tablespoon mock tail
  3. Take 2 x sachets of raspberry flavour jelly
  4. Take 300 ml boiled water
  5. Make ready 600 ml cold water
  6. Make ready 8 medium size fresh strawberries
  7. Make ready 125 ml fresh cream
  8. Prepare leaves fresh mint
  9. Prepare Few Blueberry
  10. Get 50 g custard powder
  11. Prepare 60 g sugar
  12. Prepare 2.5 litres milk
Steps to make Trifle:
  1. In a kettle boil 300 ml water. In a large bowl add the jelly crystals and add boiling water. Stir and dissolve the crystals. - As soon as they have dissolved, stir in the 600ml of cold water. - Slice the strawberries.
  2. In a large bowl place the sponge fingers and add the mock tail and let it soften. Scatter the strawberries over the sponge fingers. Pour the jelly slowly over the sponge fingers and strawberries until they are evenly covered. Cover the bowl and chill in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours or until the jelly is set.
  3. Dissolve the custard powder using 1/2 cup milk. In a pan bring milk to boil and add sugar. Add in the custard and keep stirring so no lumps are formed. Let it cool to room temperature. Take the bowl out of the fridge and spoon the custard on top of jelly.
  4. In a bowl add the fresh cream and whisk with electric whisk until soft peaks form. Using a piping bag decorate the trifle with fresh cream, strawberry, blueberry and fresh mint leaves.
