  1. Make ready 2 tbsp whole wheat flour
  2. Prepare 1 cup milk
  3. Get 2 cup milk powder
  4. Get 1/4 cup ghee
  5. Make ready 1/4 tsp baking powder
  6. Take 1 tsp cardamom powder
  7. Prepare as required Ghee for deep frying
  8. Prepare Sugar syrup
  9. Make ready 3 cups sugar
  10. Get 3 cups water
  11. Take 1 tsp cardamom powder
  12. Take 1 tsp rose water
Instructions to make Whole Wheat GulabJamun:
  1. In a mixing bowl add atta, milk powder, cardamom powder, baking powder and mix well and sieve all together. Add 1/4 cup ghee and mix well.
  2. Now add milk and knead a soft dough. Add very little at a time. Now make Berry size balls out of it. They will get double in size after completion so make small balls.
  3. Now heat ghee for deep frying and fry these ready balls from all the sides on medium flame. Soon they will become golden red brown. Take out on a kitchen towel.
  4. Sugar syrup: add sugar and water on pan and start the flame. Mix well and let the sugar melt down. Now add cardamom powder and rose water. And let it boil for 5 mins.
  5. Now add the ready fried Gulab Jamun to this boiling sugar syrup, let boil them for 5-7 mins. Turn off the flame and cover it. Let them soak in sugar syrup for an hour. Now they are double in size. Out spongy very soft and sugary Aatta Gulab Jamun are ready to go.
