The ingredients needed to make Enriched Mandazi:
  1. Prepare raising flour
  2. Make ready sugar
  3. Get egg
  4. Prepare I¼cup of Luke warm milk
  5. Prepare I tbsp of magarine
  6. Take cardamon
  7. Make ready vanilla essence
Steps to make Enriched Mandazi:
  1. Rub flour n margarine until the flour texture feels like sand
  2. Add sugar n cardamon in the flour and mix
  3. Mix egg after whisking it with vanilla essence n milk together.
  4. Make a whole on the flour n pour the mixture slowly by slowly as you knead.Knead until it becomes soft n not sticky.
  5. Apply little oil on the dough n the basin you want to put the dough.Cover it n let it rest for 1-2 hrs.
  6. Put oil in a frying pan but don't let it be hot.
  7. Roll your dough to 2cm think n cut to your desired shape.
  8. On a medium heat,deep fry your maandazi as you keep on turning them.
  9. You can use it as snacks or for breakfast.Enjoy.
