The ingredients needed to make Rajma Ki Sabzi.:
  1. Get 1 cup Chitra rajma soaked in water overnight for 12 hours,
  2. Take 4 tbsp mustard oil,
  3. Make ready 2 tbsp onion paste,
  4. Get 1 tsp garlic paste,
  5. Prepare 1/2 tsp ginger paste,
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp haldi powder,
  7. Take 1 tsp red chilli powder,
  8. Prepare 2 tsp dhania powder,
  9. Get 2 tbsp fresh tomato purée,
  10. Prepare Salt to taste,
  11. Take 1/2 tsp garam masala powder,
  12. Make ready 1 tbsp dahi whisked,
Instructions to make Rajma Ki Sabzi.:
  1. Take a pressure cooker, add rajma, salt & water accordingly. Boil it for at least 40 min.
  2. Allow it to cool down. Take out in a bowl, keep aside.
  3. Now take the same pressure cooker, add oil, heat it. Add ginger garlic paste, also add lil water, sauté it for a while.
  4. Add onion paste now, again add lil water, stir fry it for a while. Cover it with the lid, lower the flame, cook it till brown.
  5. Mix haldi, red chilli powder & dhania powder with lil water, mix it well. Add in to the masala, Increase the flame now, cook it until oil has oozed out.
  6. Now add tomato purée & salt, stir fry it for a while. Lower the flame now, cover it with the lid, cook it until oil separates.
  7. Open the lid now, increase the flame, add garam masala powder, give a stir. Now add curd, mix it well.
  8. Add boiled rajma now, mix it well, you can add more water if required. Place the lid now, give 4 whistles at high flame.
  9. Lower the flame now, cook it for 5-7 minutes. Switch off the flame, let it depressurise.
  10. Take out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta.
  11. Serve it with plane steamed rice or Paratha..
