  9. Add oil and sugar and mix well.
  10. Take milk in a bowl. Add vinegar and mix. Add the baking soda. Stir and add the frothing mixture to the cake batter.
  11. Add vanilla essence and mix quickly.
  12. Pour in the cake pan and tap it.
  13. Place some extra sliced cherries on top.
  14. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 1 hour 45 minutes (more or less) depending on your oven.
  15. Check by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean, your cake is done.
  16. Wrap in a cling film or store in a container.
