Instructions to make Black Forest Cake:
  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Grease the baking tin and dust with flour

  5. Add the yolks and continue whisking until well mixed
  6. Add sugar and continue whisking

  8. Pour into prepared tin and bake at 180 degrees for 40 min
  9. Let it cool before you ice it
  10. With a knife cut the cake into three equal parts
  11. Brush with 1 cup rum syrup making sure all slices are moist
  12. Place bottom slice on board, apply 1/3 of the cream and half the cut strawberries
  13. Place the next slice, apply 1/3 of the cream and the remaining strawberries
  14. Cover the cake with the remaining cream and shave chocolate onto the cake
  15. Garnish the top with the selected strawberries cut into halves.
