Easiest Way to Make Any-night-of-the-week Shukto

Hello everybody, it’s Drew, welcome to my recipe site. Today, I will show you a way to prepare a special dish, shukto. One of my favorites. This time, I am going to make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Shukto is one of the most well liked of current trending foods in the world. It is enjoyed by millions daily. It is easy, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. Shukto is something that I have loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look fantastic.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have shukto using 23 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Shukto:
  1. Get 2 small uchche/ Bitter Gourd
  2. Get 2 small Baigun /Brinjal
  3. Prepare 1 kancha kola/Raw Banana
  4. Prepare 2 small aloo/ potato
  5. Get 1 ranga aloo / Sweet potato
  6. Get 2 Danta / Drum sticks
  7. Make ready 1 Mooli/ White Radish
  8. Get 7 sheem / Broad Beans
  9. Make ready 10 pieces Bori
  10. Prepare 2 tbsp poppy seeds/posto
  11. Get 1 tbsp mustard seed / sorso
  12. Prepare 1 tbsp ginger paste
  13. Prepare 1 tsp panch phoron
  14. Take 2 tsp Radhuni
  15. Prepare 1 tsp turmeric powder
  16. Get 1 tbsp sugar
  17. Get to taste Salt
  18. Get 4 tbsp Mustard oil
  19. Make ready 1 tbsp ghee
  20. Get 1 cup Milk
  21. Make ready 3 cups water
  22. Make ready 2 nos red chilli
  23. Prepare 2 nos green chilli
Steps to make Shukto:
  1. Soak both mustard seeds and puppy seeds in water for ten minutes then make paste. All vegetables cut in rectangular strips, drumsticks into 2" long strips after peeling the outer skin of each veggies except Brinjal, heat mustard oil in a wok and fry Bitter Gourd and keep aside,
  2. Then fry Bori in medium flame keep aside.
  3. Then fry all the veggie one by one keep it side, temper remaining oil with panch phoron, and Radhuni, red green chilli, add ginger paste and cook for 2 minutes, then add puppy seed and mustard seed paste and cook again for 2 minutes.
  4. Add turmeric powder, salt to taste, sugar again cook for 2 minutes, add all the fried vegetables and bori.
  5. Now add milk, water to the veggie, mix it and bring it to boil then cover the wok with a lid, cook for 10 minutes in low flame,
  6. Check the water level and if required add some more water since Shukto should have sufficient gravy. Add ghee to the curry and boil for 2 minutes and serve hot with rice.
