  2. Make ready 500 gms Jumbo Prawns
  3. Prepare 1 tsp Salt
  4. Prepare 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  5. Take 2 Juice of Lemons
  6. Get 1 tsp Pepper Powder
  7. Make ready 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  8. Prepare 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  9. Get 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  10. Prepare For Cooking Prawns:
  11. Get 1/4 cup Cooking Oil
  12. Take For the Pickle:
  13. Take 1/4 cup Cooking Oil
  14. Make ready 6-8 tbsps Ginger (Finely Chopped)
  15. Take 6-8 tbsps Garlic (Finely Chopped)
  16. Make ready 20-25 Green Chillies (Finely Chopped)
  17. Take 1/4-1/2 cup Vinegar
  18. Get Masala Powders:
  19. Take 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  20. Take 2tsps Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  21. Take 2tsps Red Chilli Powder
  22. Prepare 2 tsps Mustard Seeds Powder
  23. Get 1 tsp Methi Powder
  24. Get 1 tsp Salt
Instructions to make Spicy Prawns Pickle:
  1. Peel and de-vein the prawns. Wash nicely. Keep in strainer for the excess water to drain. Marinate the prawns with lemon juice, salt, turmeric powder and ginger-garlic paste for about 30 minutes.
  2. After 30 minutes, to the marinated prawns, add kashmiri red chilli powder, pepper powder and garam masala powder and keep it marinated for few hours or overnight.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add little red chilli powder to the prawns and fry on low flame until cooked. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. For making the pickle, keep all the ingredients ready.
  5. Heat oil in a saucepan. Add in the finely chopped green chillies, garlic and ginger and saute on medium flame until the garlic and ginger are nicely roasted.
  6. Add in the masala powders and salt and fry for a minute. Add it to the cooked prawns.
  7. Add the vinegar and simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. After 5 minutes, the mixture would become slightly dry and the oil would start to float out completely. Switch off the flame and allow it to cool for an hour.
  9. Transfer the Spicy Prawns Pickle to a sterilized container. You can store it in refrigerator for upto a month.
