  13. Take For seasoning
  14. Get 3 tbsp oil
  15. Get 1 tsp mustard seeds
  16. Make ready 1 tsp whole cumin
  17. Prepare 6 garlic cloves crushed
  18. Make ready 2 bay leaves
  19. Prepare 2 star anise
  20. Prepare 1/2 tsp asefoetida
  21. Get 1 medium onion finely chopped
  22. Make ready to taste Vinegar is optional and salt
  23. Make ready For garnishing
  24. Make ready Handful chopped Coriander leaves
  25. Make ready 1 ” pc ginger sliced fine
Instructions to make Jumbo Prawn Masala:
  1. 12 nos Jumbo Prawns
  2. Chop tip of head, tail, legs and Devein leaving the shell on
  3. Put seasoning in a pan with oil. Sauté till onions are transparent
  4. Add the ground paste and keep frying on medium flame till oil surfaces. Add half cup water salt to taste
  5. Add the prawns and keep on medium to low flame till prawns are cooked
  6. Finally add vinegar to taste if required
  7. If the gravy turns out too dry add another half cup water and give one boil and turn off the flame. Garnish with chopped Coriander leaves and thinly sliced ginger.
