About Goan Prawn Curry Recipe: Also known as Ambot Tik, Goan prawn curry has prawns cooked in coconut milk with a spicy gravy made of turmeric, black pepper, vinegar and coconut. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Goan Prawn Curry with Coconut is a spicy, sour curry that comes from Goa and is also called Ambot Tik.

Steps to make Prawn Curry:
  1. Wash the prawns, marinate with marinade masala and rest for 30 minutes.

  3. Heat oil in pressure cooker. Add sugar and bay leaf. Further add onions, and fry till golden brown.
  4. Put in cooked masala paste,chopped potatoes, tomatoes, turmeric powder to pressure cooker. Mix well. Add the fried prawn. Cook in low heat for 2-3 minutes.
