  1. Make ready 1/2 kg mutton
  2. Make ready 1 tb ginger garlic paste
  3. Prepare 1 tb red chilli powder
  4. Take 1 tsp turmeric
  5. Make ready 1 tsp coriander powder
  6. Prepare 1 tsp garam masala powder
  7. Make ready 1 tsp cummin powder

  11. Take 250 gm lokki
  12. Get 2 sliced onions
  13. Take 4 tbsp coriander/mint leaves
  14. Take FOR LENTIL:
  15. Get 250 gm channa/masoor daal
  16. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric
  17. Prepare 1/2 tsp salt
  18. Get 1 tsp red chilli powder
  19. Get 1/2 cup tamarind pulp
  20. Get 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  21. Get FOR BHAGAAR (TEMPERING):
  22. Get 1/4 th cup oil
  23. Prepare 2 tbsp ghee
  24. Make ready 10-12 curry leaves
  25. Prepare 5 red chillies
  26. Prepare 1 onion sliced
  27. Take 1 tsp zeera
Steps to make Hyderabaadi Mutton Daalcha:
  1. Take oil in a pan and add mutton in it, soutte onion in it, add ginger garlic paste and rest of the spices, soutte and add meat then bonify for 2mins, now add 2 cups of water and cook till it gets tender. when your meat gets tender upto 70% then add lauki and tomato, add some water so that it helps your lokki to get tender.
  2. Soak masoor daal for 1/2 hr, now wash it and add salt, red chilli, termeric and water and let it gets tender. If you're using chanadaal you've to mash it first, but masoor daal gets tender and homogenous just by boiling. Now add tamarind pulp and cook for 2mins.
  3. Then add this ground daal in the mutton lokki gravy now add green chillies and some curry leaves, let it get cooked for few mins. Adjust the gravy's thickness by addding or removing water, it should'nt be very thick or thin.
  4. In ghee add bhagaar ingredients and cook it.. now add it over your daal for bhagaar. Serve it with corrianderor mint leaves.
