To get started with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can cook mathura ke pede using 4 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Mathura ke pede:
  1. Prepare 2 cups Khoya
  2. Take 1/2 cup Sugar
  3. Prepare 1/4 th tsp Liquid glucose
  4. Prepare 1/2 cup Castor sugar

Take some amount (lemon sized) of the mixture and roll it with your hands and press with your hands giving it a peda shape. Your yummy Mathura peda is ready to serve. In the birthplace of Lord Krishna, Mathura Ke Pede is famous all over. Whenever people visit Mathura, they definitely take these Peda with them.

Steps to make Mathura ke pede:
  1. Heat the khoya in a nonstick pan and keep stirring it. Cook on a medium flame, for 10 minutes while continuously stirring it, till it gets little colored.
  2. Keep the cooked khoya aside. Now boil the sugar with 1/4 th cup of water till it forms a one string consistency.
  3. Now add the liquid glucose into the sugar syrup and give it a mix. Remove from the flame. Now add the cooked khoya into the sugar syrup and mix it. Transfer it into a bowl and let it cool for sometime.
  4. Now make small pedas out of it and coat with Castor sugar.
