Akara is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It is appreciated by millions daily. It is simple, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. Akara is something that I have loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look fantastic.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook akara using 5 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Akara:
  1. Make ready 4 cups beans
  2. Prepare 4 medium size of pepper
  3. Make ready 1 medium size of onions
  4. Make ready 1 bottle groundnut oil
  5. Get to taste Salt
Steps to make Akara:
  1. Wash and remove the skin of the beans.
  2. Soak in water for 10mins
  3. Ground beans to desired texture(not too smooth) and with very little water
  4. Cut onions and pepper and add to the beans paste. Add salt. Use a spatula or mortar to stir very well.
  5. Put your oil in a clean fry pan, scoop the akara paste into it and leave about 2cm apart. fry until golden brown on a medium heat. And turn over, pressing with your frying spoon so that it cooks inside too.
