The ingredients needed to make Besani Kofta Curry:
  1. Get 1 cup besan
  2. Make ready For For kofta:-
  3. Take 1 cup besan
  4. Prepare 3 tbsp paneer grated
  5. Take 2-3 green chillies finely chopped
  6. Take 1 onion chopped
  7. Make ready 1 tsp pomegranate seeds
  8. Make ready 3 tbsp walnut crushed
  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp jeera
  10. Take 1/2 tsp ajwain
  11. Get 1/4 tsp haldi powder
  12. Make ready 1 tsp coriander powder
  13. Take 1 tsp red chilli powder
  14. Take as per taste Salt
  15. Take 2 tsp oil
  16. Make ready as required Oil for frying
  17. Take For gravy:-
  18. Take 1 cup onion (paste)/2 onions
  19. Make ready 1 cup tomato paste/ 2 tomatoes
  20. Prepare 3-4 green chillies finely chopped
  21. Take 1 inch ginger
  22. Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  23. Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  24. Make ready 1 tbsp coriander powder
  25. Take 1 tsp red chilli powder
  26. Make ready 1 tsp garam masala powder
  27. Prepare to taste Salt
  28. Take 1/4 cup fresh cream
  29. Get 1 tbsp kaju paste
Instructions to make Besani Kofta Curry:
  1. For kofta:- Mix all the ingredients together for kofta except walnut and oil and knead to soft dough.
  2. Make them in round balls. Flatten each ball. Place walnuts in the center and seal.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat slide the koftas one by one gently to the oil.
  4. Turn them occasionally and fry koftas until golden brown all around.
  5. Drain in kitchen towel and reserve.
  6. For gravy:- Take a pan and add oil + ghee in it and add cumin seeds in it crackle for few seconds.
  7. Add onion, ginger garlic paste kaju paste in it and let it cool till the onion colour turn into golden brown.
  8. Add green chillies, tomato paste in it. Stir well everything.
  9. Add haldi powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt and stir well everything well.
  10. Add water in it and make it cook for around 5 minutes. When the smell of tomatoes changes add cream in it.
  11. Let the gravy cook for a while for around 5 minutes more. Now add the koftas it in and let it cook for around 5 minutes more.
  12. Besani kofta is ready and garnish with coriander leaves, grated paneer, if desired.
