The ingredients needed to make Potato poori:
  1. Take 2 cups Wheat flour
  2. Make ready 2 boiled potatoes
  3. Take 1 tsp Coriander powder
  4. Make ready 1 Red chilli powder
  5. Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  6. Make ready 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  7. Make ready 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  8. Prepare 1/4 tsp Dry mango powder
  9. Take 1/4 tsp garam masala
  10. Take 2 tsp ghee
  11. Get as required Oil for deep frying
Instructions to make Potato poori:
  1. Take wheat flour in a big mixing bowl and now add spices like chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, dry mango powder, cumin seeds, 2 tsp ghee and salt to taste.all ingredients mix well.
  2. Now add grated boiled potatoes. Mix well. Now slowly add water as required and prepare a stiff dough. Cover the dough and keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes to set. After 20 minutes, when the dough is set, knead it.
  3. Cut the dough into small or medium pieces. make small lemon sized balls and roll the dough evenly into circles using a rolling pin.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan or kadhai. when the oil is sufficiently hot, add one poori and press with the spoon to puff up.
  5. Fry the poori till golden brown from both sides. Then drain the poori into tissue paper to remove excess oil. fry all pooris same way.
  6. Finally, serve aloo poori with curries of your choice.
