The ingredients needed to make Steam Roast Pulao:
  1. Prepare 1 Whole chicken
  2. Prepare 1 kg Rice
  3. Make ready 2 Tomatoes chopped
  4. Take Curry leaves 6
  5. Make ready 10 Whole red chilli
  6. Take 1 bunches Fresh coriander
  7. Make ready 1/2 cup Lemon juice
  8. Take 1/2 cup Oil
  9. Take 1 tsp Turmeric
  10. Take 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  11. Make ready 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  12. Prepare 1 tsp Fennel seeds
  13. Make ready 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  14. Take 1/2 tsp Saffron
  15. Take 2 tbsp Desiccated coconut
  16. Get 1-1/2 tsp Salt
Steps to make Steam Roast Pulao:
  1. Marinate chicken with 1 tsp turmeric and ½ tsp salt for 4 hours. Put the marinated chicken in an oven proof dish and bake on 200 degree for 30 minutes.
  2. Now heat ½ cup oil in a pan, add 1 tsp cumin seeds and dry. Now add roasted chicken and cook well.
  3. Add in 1 tsp mustard seeds, 100 whole red chilies, 6 curry leaves, 2 chopped tomatoes, 2 tbsp desiccated coconut, 1 kg soaked rice, 1 tsp fennel seeds, ½ tsp saffron, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and 2 glasses of water. Cook till water dries and rice done.
  4. Simmer for few minutes, garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
  5. Enjoy
