  4. Get 4 big spoons sumac
  5. Prepare Pepper
  6. Take 1 teaspoon flour
  7. Take Marqouk (thin bread or pita bread if not available)

Fill the crescent rolls with a tablespoonful of the chicken mixture. Roll each piece up beginning with the wide end; press and seal the top of the rolled dough. Brush the rolls with butter, then roll them in the crushed croutons. Return the coated rolls back to the baking sheet.

Steps to make Chicken Rolls (mosakhan):
  1. Boil the chicken breast with bay leaf, a lemon slice, cumin, and black papper.
  2. Slice the onions and the chicken into thin slices.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, sumac, salt, and pepper; cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Until the onions get transparent. Then add the chicken and cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. Cut the marqouk or pita bread into triangle. Rub olive oil on the bread, then add the chicken and roll it.
  5. Mix the flour with water, and use it to stick the endings.
  6. Put it in an oven tray, and rub each piece with olive oil. Then put in the oven for 5 minutes.

Brush the rolls with butter, then roll them in the crushed croutons. Return the coated rolls back to the baking sheet. Musakhan is a dish that one typically eats with one's hands. It is usually presented with the chicken on top of the bread, and could be served with soup. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
